Parichay works as a trainer and has helped many interns do good in their jobs. He feels that we should not only prepare for the best but also for the worst-case scenarios.

Parichay Sharma was born in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and did his schooling from Udaipur, Rajasthan. He is working in BYJU’s (Think & Learn Private Ltd.) in the Training and Business Development Department. He has worked in companies like Maruti Suzuki, Dale Carnegie, and Nayara Energies and trained more than 4000 interns.

Parichay was born with a medical condition in which he could not see in the sun. i.e., Solar Blind. He can also not identify colors and is not medically fit to drive a vehicle. He says that due to his condition he was often made fun of. He also had to face bullying in his childhood.

However, a complete turnaround happened in his college days. Parichay says that it was like a personality switch. He started participating in various competitions and debates. He started interacting more with people and gradually moved on in life. He decided to focus more on the positive side of his personality and completely ignore his shortcomings. He also became the President of his college students union and of the Rotary Club.

Talking about his professional journey, Parichay shares that his first job was in Wipro. It was a challenge for him as he couldn’t drive but the job entailed much traveling . He was posted in Rajasthan and had to cover at least three cities daily. It was from there that Parichay developed an interest in traveling and now loves it. In his second job, his profile was of a Trainer who had to devise new training activities for interns. He then joined Maruti Suzuki and gave training sessions at multiple locations. He has also given lectures in many colleges in Udaipur as well.

He feels that his biggest achievement in life came when he was called to conduct training seminars in colleges like IIM, Udaipur, and NIT, Jaipur. He says that in spite of doing an MBA from a very small college in Rajasthan, being called by such reputed institutes was a big thing for him.

He says that the only drawback he feels in his nature presently is that he is a bad planner. He never had a Plan B in his life. He says that having an alternative plan in today’s world is very important. He has also learned a good thing from his younger brother and that is to be prepared for the worst. Thinking positive is good but one should be prepared for anything in life.

Parichay advises the youth to develop soft skills like confidence and communication skills. He feels that education is just a key to a door and real success can only be assured by how well a person presents oneself. Overall development is necessary in the present competitive world.

Parichay says that his father was his real inspiration. He lost his father a few years back and when he was admitted to the hospital then it was the time when he got to know the financial condition of his family. Parichay says that his father never let any problem reach them and always made them feel like everything was fine. However, his father earned a third of what Parichay was earning and still managed everything smoothly.

Parichay says that he takes inspiration from everywhere. He feels that everything around us teaches us something and is a source of inspiration.
