Pappu Bhat is a puppet show artist as well as a puppet maker in Jaipur.
Pappu was born and brought up in Nagore and belongs to a family of puppeteers. He reveals that his traditional business is puppet making. Earlier, he was practising the art of making wooden idols. Afterwards, when this art was getting extinct, he started making wooden puppets and organising puppet shows.
Recalling his childhood memories, Pappu says that at the age of ten, he started doing shows with his father. He performed many puppet shows in Rajputana that included messages or stories from various cultures. He faced many challenges in his childhood.
Pappu shares that many students came to him from different places to learn the art of making puppets. He wants more people to learn this art to enhance the beauty and culture of India. He also wants to promote this art worldwide. He also believes that there is no limit to education and art; anyone can learn them.
Pappu feels that suicide is not the solution to a problem; ups and downs are part of life. It is important to face the problems and try to solve them. He asks everyone to always be happy and face the challenges that come along the path of life.
Pappu’s life mantra is that he learns from the mistakes of others and tries not to repeat them. He is never disappointed and always finds the solution to any problem.
