A priest, Teekamchand has been offering his religious services to the royal families. He believes the youth must value life and never give up, despite hard times.

Pandit Teekamchand Maharaj is a priest from Pushkar.

Teekamchand was born and raised in Pushkar. He and his forebears have been providing their services to the royal families visiting Pushkar for the last rituals from all around the nation.

Describing his experience during the COVID period, Teekamchand says he witnessed a difficult time during the pandemic. He and his other fellow priests were not allowed to offer their services, as all the temples were closed. During these three years, fewer pilgrims visited the place. Because of that, it was very difficult for them to earn their bread and butter.

Teekamchand advises young people to remember that life is a struggle and that they should never give up hope. He says everyone should learn from the small ant, who never gives up and persistently tries to reach its destination. He says the youth must value life because they won’t get it again.
