Osheen has been enjoying her workplace culture as it is more fun than work. She is happy working at a BPO company in Pune.

Osheen Shrivastav is working as a Senior Associate with WNS Global Services in Magarpatta, Pune. She joined this company two years back and it has been a good journey till now as she has good connections with colleagues as well as with the management.

Osheen belongs to Nagpur and completed her education from there itself. She feels nostalgic about her childhood for it being the best memory of her life. She wishes to go back to those days because she used to be a topper of her class. She is an Engineer by education.

Although Osheen did engineering, she was never interested in the technical field because she did not have a clear vision back then about where she wanted to be in future. So she happened to choose her career in Management and Operations over coding. And hence, she landed up in the management field.

For Osheen, success is the proportionate balance of time and money, lacking any one would be of no use. If you have money but no time to enjoy that success, then that wealth is of no use and vice versa. So she thinks it is important to balance both the things to be successful.

Osheen’s father is her role model as he worked really hard throughout his life. Even being a National Union person, he is a very humble person, attached to his roots as money has never gotten into his head. He still works too hard to earn more to give the best of life to his family. Osheen is motivated by her father’s saying that ‘It is quite simple to be happy but it is very difficult to be simple.’

Osheen is highly inspired by her colleague, Simran, who has been taking care of her family since a very young age after her father’s demise and Osheen admires her in all ways.

Osheen laments that she has always been a very lazy and procrastinating person due to which she missed out on a lot of things in life. She even realized this and tried to overcome it but couldn’t do it because of her let go attitude. Owing to this she went into depression and lost all hopes in her career. She gave herself some time, sought help and discussed it with people to finally come out of that zone.

Apart from work, Osheen keeps herself busy doing daily chores and watching Netflix. Although she is not a good singer, she likes to sing and listen to music. Also, she is a family oriented person so she talks to her family and talking to her mother is like therapy for her. On weekends she spends time with her friends.

Osheen opines that there is no concept like a born leader because you learn things with time and experience. There always arises a situation where you have to be a leader and take stand for something you and people around you believe in. So you just have to get together and work your way out.

Osheen advises that to work in an insurance company, you need to keep patience as to deal with a new situation everyday and learn from those things. Also you must keep your calm to hold your things upright and manage them well. To have a smooth ride at work, you should always perform in a pacified manner.

As per Osheen, education and career experience play an equal role in life. Throughout your educational journey you learn the basic etiquettes and moral values that are applied at every phase of life. Your experience belongs to your current knowledge so more of a knowledge part is gained through experience but education is equally important.

If Osheen could go back in time, she would go back and change one decision that she just hopped on to the first opportunity she got in her career. So she could go back and search for other options and take a break to live with her family for sometime.
