Omi Sharma is the Founder of the Richie Group. The group has several companies in its fold like Richie's Auto Detailing, Richie’s Skull Fashion and Tattoo, Richie's Real Estate, and Rich Stocks where they deal with different things.

Omi completed his education in Chittorgarh at St. Paul’s School. He did his graduation from Maharana Pratap College, Chittorgarh, and then an MBA from Jaipur.

Recalling his childhood, Omi says that he spent his early childhood in a village called Gilund, as his father was posted there. Later, they shifted to Chittorgarh. He says that all his childhood memories are of Chittorgarh, and he remembers playing cricket in the evening every day. He still loves cricket very much.

Sharing about his difficult times, Omi says that the most difficult time in his life was when he completed his MBA. He got a campus placement in Transport Corporation of India Logistics, but he always wanted to do business, so he did not join the job and had to face a struggling period from 2011–2016. However, he surrounded himself with good people and mentors, and through the experience of different jobs he did in that period, he overcame that difficult time in his life.

Omi says he comes from a very humble background, and his father was the first in seven generations of their family to break the chain of illiteracy. His father was the first to graduate in their family and made his children study, says Omi.

Omi shares that, as a child, he felt that now it was his responsibility to break the chain of financial hardships of his family. He says that he had wanted to become a successful man since childhood, but the definition of success changed as he grew up. When he was young, for him, being rich was equal to being successful. He knew that being rich was not possible with a job, so he thought of doing business. Slowly and gradually, he built his business and grew it, and after becoming financially stable, he realised that you cannot become a successful person just by earning money; you also need to take care of society by taking care of people and doing social work.

Talking about his role models, Omi says that he has always looked up to his father because, despite adversities and being the son of a farmer, his father completed his education. Omi shares that when his father completed his schooling, he did not have enough financial resources, so he used to do carpenting work during the day and study at night at Shramjeevi College. That way, he completed his graduation, eventually becoming a bank manager.

Omi says that the happiest day for him was when he became a father to his son. He named his son Richie Sharma, and his company's name is also inspired by his son's name.

If given a time machine to go back in time, Omi would go back to that time when his father started consuming tobacco, betel leaf, etc., which caused him to suffer from cancer. He would go back in time and stop his father from doing so. He also says that he was not much interested in studies, so he says that he would like to give all the time that he gave to his studies to his business so that he could reach greater heights sooner.

Apart from his work, Omi likes photography, making reels, travelling and exploring new places, playing cricket, and having parties with his friends.

Omi's advice to people who want to come into the field of business is that you just need hard work, dedication, discipline, and honesty to succeed in the business field.

The things that motivate Omi and help him with stress management are yoga and meditation.
