A double PhD by education, Om Prakash decided to join his family business to raise the bar and lend a helping hand in his father’s profession.

Om Prakash Sen is the owner of Manglam Family Salon & Spa. He has been in this profession for the last thirteen years.

Recalling his childhood, Om says that he was born in a poor family and grew up with his grandparents. He studied in his village till the 8th standard and then joined the RSS, which came with valuable learning and helped in his personality development. Om then continued the rest of his education and shares being the President of his school while in 12th grade.

Despite all of the obstacles, including his mother's declining health, Om used education to learn and grow in life.He abides by his father’s teachings that struggles are a part and parcel of life. Om also continued learning salon work and decided to set up his own salon in Udaipur after understanding the market and people's preferences. Though Om did face some financial hurdles while establishing his business, his positive attitude helped him sail through.

Om also provides event-related services in Udaipur in addition to home services. He also attracts clients from Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Delhi. Talking about his achievements, Om shares that 30 members of his team performed 130 haircuts in just three minutes in one of the hair competitions and set a global record.

In his free time, Om likes to watch movies and learn new things about hair styling and coloring on YouTube.
