Nousheen Sheikh is an established Fashion Designer of the brand Pakeezah in Udaipur. She fiercely rose above her struggles and believes in becoming the best version of herself each day.

Nousheen Sheikh is running the twenty-one years old fashion brand of her parents as the lead Fashion Designer. She joined the family business in 2016 with the inspiration, encouragement, support, and blessings of her parents.

Nousheen was born in 1996 in Udaipur and completed her schooling at CPS and graduated from Pacific University in the city. After her marriage, Nousheen shifted to Kota.

Nousheen did not face any struggles in her professional life as such. However, during her childhood, she was bullied by many including her relatives due to her dark complexion and body fat. Therefore, while in college, she started losing weight and lost almost twenty-five kilograms. Thereafter, Nousheen participated in modelling and won the title of “Miss Queen Umbrella Udaipur”.

Nousheen feels lucky to have the constant support of her parents, husband, brother, and in-laws. She also won awards for Best Designer at Pacific University and went on to design garments for Mr India and got awarded for the same. However, the reviews and satisfaction of her customers give her a real feeling of accomplishment.

During Covid, Nousheen focused on designing her wedding dress and only designed wedding garments. She agrees to have faced lots of financial and workers-related issues like many other businesses.

Nousheen’s parents and the Bollywood Designer, Masaba Gupta are her role models. Her parents’ inspiration and hard work motivated her to take up Fashion and join the family business. Whereas, Masaba Gupta’s resilience and strength of character inspire her.

Nousheen admires her father for his constant support throughout her journey and loves to design clothes, as his father motivates her to do.

Nousheen follows the concept of listening to everyone but following your heart in the end for achieving success and satisfaction. She also encourages everyone to achieve their dreams and enjoy life.

Nousheen feels she was born a leader. As a leader, she strives to work as a team and treat her workers as a family. She uses a soft and polite way of communication with her team.

Nousheen believes that the more one polishes their education and uses it, the more experienced they’ll become.

During her free time, Nousheen goes shopping, watches Netflix, and does cooking.

Lastly, Nousheen advises aspiring fashion designers to work on their fashion sense, maintain a fashionable outlook and style, fashion themselves appropriately, and focus on their personality and grooming. This helps their customers see their fashion sense and believe in their work.
