A teacher by profession, Nishi believes that teaching is the best career for women. Nishi enjoys spending her time teaching and imparting knowledge to her students.

Nishi Saxena is a Hindi teacher at the European International School based in Chittorgarh. She has completed five years of teaching at the school.

Recalling her childhood, Nishi shares that she spent her early days in different cities owing to her father’s transferable job. She was born in Mathura and completed her basic education at Kotputli and Dausa. Nishi completed her higher studies at Dausa PG College and Jaipur University.

Describing her struggles, Nishi says that challenges arose both on her personal and professional fronts, but she managed to overcome them with her patience and intelligence.

When asked about her role models, Nishi says she draws inspiration from her parents, because of whom she could come this far in life. She abides by her father’s mantra of not postponing things for tomorrow but rather doing them today. Nishi says that her father taught her to work with honesty.

If Nishi could travel back in time through a time machine, she would revisit and relive her childhood, a time full of fun and no stress.

Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Nishi says that while education gives you bookish knowledge, it is experience that introduces you to the practicalities of life.

Nishi advises the youth to stay active and work with full honesty. She welcomes aspiring teachers to join the teaching profession and suggests they consult their seniors if they ever feel stuck.

Nishi enjoys cooking in her free time.
