Nishant Kumawat is working as an Office Superintendent at Vidya Bhawan Educational Resource Center, Udaipur. He joined Vidya Bhawan in 2007.
Nishant was born and brought up in Udaipur. He completed his secondary education at a government school in Dewali, Udaipur. He completed his senior secondary from Nav Bharat School. Nishant then did his graduation from Vidya Bhawan Rural Institute and post-graduation in Public Administration from Sukhadia University.
After completing his education, he started working in NGOs like Seva Mandir. He has also worked for the Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) on issues related to water, land, and forest conservation in the area of Dungarpur which was suffering from the problem of low groundwater levels. Nishant then joined Vidya Bhawan in 2007 and since then he has been working here itself.
Talking about his role models, Nishant says that his father is the one for him. His father was a farmer and had worked hard in his life. Nishant says that his second role model is Prasoon Kumar, the Education Advisor of Vidya Bhawan. Nishant says that he has learned many things like good communication skills from Prasoon and respects him a lot.
If given a time machine, Nishant would like to go back to his school time and enjoy that phase of his life again.
Advising the youth, Nishant says that they should not focus on using shortcuts in life and learn the work they are doing with time.
Nishant opines that we should work with honesty and also keep sharing our experiences with others as well.
In his free time, Nishant likes swimming and going out with his friends.
