Nisha Sharma is a dancer, YouTuber, and entrepreneur. She is also an ambassador for the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” mission.

Nisha says that her dance journey started when she was eleven years old. When she was twelve years old, she started teaching dance, and about 20 students used to come to her to learn at that time.

Nisha has done "Visharad" in Kathak and Manipuri dance from the Raja Man Singh Tomar School.

Recalling her days of struggle, Nisha says that she used to dream of becoming a doctor as a child, but after winning a dance competition, she realized that she could become a very good dancer. And because the financial condition of her family was not such that she could get admitted to a good dance school, she thought of learning the dance herself. Very soon, she also started teaching dance to support the family financially, and her dance school became the most famous in the surrounding areas.

Talking about her achievements, Nisha says she has won many awards in dance, including the “Nykaa” award and many other famous awards from the M.P. government. She says that she has also done TV serials in Mumbai, and along with this, she is also a YouTuber who has gotten a silver button for her channel for having one million subscribers. Her proudest achievement was when she was made the brand ambassador of the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” campaign for the MP government. She also runs a successful, unique restaurant named "Falsafa."

Sharing her COVID experience, Nisha says that the experience was very different, as everything had shut down. Nisha says that her dance school was also closed, and it was difficult to meet the rent and other expenses. That's why she started taking online classes. She says that during the same time she also started being active on her YouTube channel with her dance videos, which got a tremendous response. During that time, she learned to recite bhajans and aartis, and also read the Ramayana. She enjoyed spending time with her parents as well. She also provided medicine and other necessities to the people during the pandemic.

Speaking about her role models, Nisha says that her mother is her role model. Her mother does all the household chores from morning until night and also takes care of all the responsibilities of the family, and at the same time she is so creative that she has stitched all the dresses for her dance. Nisha wants herself to be hardworking like her mother and never get irritated with her work but to do it happily with all her heart.

Talking about her regrets, Nisha says that her first regret was that she did not pay much attention to expressions in her dance, due to which she had to face defeat in a dance competition. After that, she worked a lot on her expressions, and today she is known as the Expression Queen of Gwalior. Nisha further says that her second-biggest regret was when she became famous and made many friends, but due to this, she was getting distracted from her goal somewhere. But soon she realized her mistake and focused on her work with full dedication and hard work.

Nisha likes to spend her free time chatting with her friends who live outside Gwalior. She says that everyone has their own place in her life, and talking to them makes her feel very refreshed.

Nisha gives a message to the youth, saying that when we are young, we like to hang out with friends, go on drives, play games, and have fun, but this kind of life is very short, so avoid distractions. Make some space and concentrate on your goal.
