A gold medalist and Ph.D. scholar, Nisha Patel  teaches at an engineering college. Overcoming challenges as the only woman in her class, she became an educator and now aspires to inspire through teaching and aims to become an administrative officer.

Nisha Patel serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Techno NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur.

Her teaching expertise lies in foundational courses like Basic Mechanical Engineering, with Mechanical Thermodynamics being her core specialization. Patel explains that, at Techno NJR, the academic environment is enriched with practical training opportunities in cutting-edge tools such as SolidWorks and ANSYS, which equip students with industry-relevant skills.

In addition to classroom teaching, the institute organizes a variety of workshops where students gain hands-on experience and deepen their understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, fostering a holistic learning experience.

As far as her achievements are concerned, Nisha Patel shares that she was honored with a Gold Medal by the CTAE- College of Technology And Engineering, which was awarded to her by the esteemed then Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra.

Nisha Patel shares that the founder of Techno NJR, Raj Shekhar Vyas Sir played a pivotal role in her journey during her graduation, offering immense support, even for financial needs. Known for his unwavering dedication, Vyas Sir goes out of his way to help students, whether it’s through training or financial assistance.

Being the only girl in her Mechanical Engineering class, Nisha initially felt unsure and hesitant about whether she could succeed in the field. However, Vyas Sir's constant encouragement and belief in her abilities reassured her. His words, "Sab ho jata hai, as everything is possible," became a source of inspiration, helping her overcome her doubts and excel in her studies.

Reflecting on her early years, Nisha Patel shares that she hails from Udaipur, where she completed her schooling at Gyan Mandir School. She earned her B.Tech degree from Techno NJR and went on to pursue her M.Tech from CTAE, where she was awarded a prestigious gold medal for her exceptional performance. Currently, she is further advancing her academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. from CTAE, demonstrating her dedication to continuous learning and growth in the field of mechanical engineering.

When it comes to role models, Nisha Patel holds Vyas Sir in the highest regard for his unwavering support and guidance throughout her journey. He has always encouraged her to chase her dreams and work towards her goals.

Reflecting on a pivotal moment of her life, Nisha Patel shares that she once made a mistake and sought Vyas Sir’s advice. His words, “Safal insaan ki koi galti nahi hoti” (A successful person’s mistakes don’t define them), left a profound impact on her. Inspired by this, she resolved to achieve success at any cost and remain focused on her aspirations.

With her determined mindset, Nisha Patel dreams of becoming an administrative officer in the future, aiming to make a meaningful impact through her work.

“हो गई है पीर पर्वत-सी, पिघलनी चाहिए, 
इस हिमालय से कोई गंगा निकलनी चाहिए,
 आज यह दीवार पत्थरों की तरह हिलने लगी, 
पर शर्त यह थी कि बुनियाद हिलनी चाहिए, 
मेरे सीने में न सही, तेरे सीने में सही,
है अगर कहीं आग, तो आग जलनी चाहिए।”

The other lines that motivate and inspire her are:

“पूरी धरा भी साथ दे तो कोई और बात है, 
पर तू ज़रा भी साथ दे तो कोई और बात है,
 यूँ तो चलने को चलती है एक पाँव पे भी दुनिया, 
पर दूसरा भी साथ दे तो कोई और बात है।”

She advises everyone to never give up in life and always maintain a positive outlook. She emphasizes the importance of following your heart and doing what feels right to you, rather than relying solely on the opinions or advice of others.
