Nikhil Nagar is a guitar instructor by profession. He found his passion for guitar late in life. But he gave it all to convert his passion into his profession.

Nikhil Nagar is a guitar instructor based in Udaipur. He has his parents and his younger sister in his family. He completed his schooling in Dhariyawad town in the Pratapgarh district of Rajasthan. For his college, he came to Udaipur. He enrolled himself for a B.Sc. in nursing.

Nikhil says that when he was in his 3rd year of college he took to guitar. He says that before that he never played guitar. But when he first held a guitar he got so fascinated that he continued learning to play  guitar for a year or so. He learned from the basics to the advanced level. And now he is a guitar instructor and preparing new guitarists.

Nikhil says that because of his new-found passion for the guitar he slacked in his studies. He got so many backlogs and his degree course got extended by a couple of years. But he never gave up playing guitar and continued it.

To anyone who wants to learn to play guitar, Nikhil advises that after picking up the guitar one should never remain stuck to the basics only. One should keep learning and honing his skills. Besides, one should learn it under an instructor’s guidance. It’s very important to have a good teacher to learn from.

Nikhil considers A.R. Rehman as his inspiration. He learns from him and emulates his music.

Nikhil is of the opinion that education is very important in one’s life. Whatever one wants to do in one’s life one should first complete one’s education then pursue one’s passion.

If he could go back in time and undo something, Nikhil would want to pick guitar early-on. He says that had he started early-on he would have reached a better place in his career.

Reflecting on his childhood, Nikhil says that during his childhood he was very naughty. He would play with his friends all day long and would return home late at night. He would often not be allowed to enter his house. He would have to spend his nights out of his home. But he reminisces those times and it brings a grin to his face.

Nikhil loves the outdoors. He enjoys exploring nature and singing songs.
