It’s not important to be good in academics, it’s important to be good in life.
It’s not important to be good in academics, it’s important to be good in life.
Nihar lives in Udaipur with his family, his wife and a newly born son. He started his career after completing his graduation from Singhania University as an electrical engineer. He says soon after he was in the semi-final year of his college life he realized that engineering was not what he wanted to do. He knew he wanted to do something else.
Nihar was working with E-connect in Udaipur when he started working extra hours to accomplish his dreams. He first got the idea of his startup when he once wanted to wish his parents and greet them with a cake and asked his friends but they were busy and could not do it. He then thought there should be a service that can deliver cakes and bouquets on any occasion to people’s doorsteps.
He then started his firm in 2015, and since then has had very decent growth in his business. He now owns a 6000 sq. ft. workshop where a variety of bakery products are manufactured and delivered.
He says it was very tough for him at first because Nihar was a very average student and he says being average was a sin back then. But he always wanted to do something he enjoys doing and lift the burden of slackness from his shoulders.
Sometimes he works from 7 AM in the morning till late at night so he has sacrificed a lot of family time for his job and thinks it is always a viable thing that you have to lose something in order to gain something.
To be in his field, Nihar says customer satisfaction is a must. If you don’t give them something to talk about with others, you won’t succeed and that has been his success mantra. To provide quality and create a good customer relationship has always been his priority. He targeted the corporate market more because he thinks if he can reach 5 employees from an office he can reach five families at once and that has really helped him grow.
Nihar thinks experience is very important because if you don’t fail and learn you will not grow. He says it is important to know what mistakes you’re making and correct them.
