A painter, Nidhi loves nature and started her journey by getting inspiration from it. She paints for her own peace of mind.

Nidhi Sharma is a painting  artist in Mumbai.

Nidhi was born and brought up in Delhi and now resides in Mumbai with her family. She feels blessed to spend her vacations at her grandparents' house in Mysore, where she enjoys nature.

Recalling her childhood, Nidhi says that she had a very memorable and enjoyable childhood and feels blessed to have supportive parents. She learned to paint from her mother. She attended APJ School in Noida and was encouraged to paint by the teachers. She says she learned a lot from her art teachers in school, as she spent most of her time in the art room where she also developed patience. She also took a textile design course at the New Delhi Polytechnic for three years. She started her own boutique after getting married and continues to paint too.

Talking about her mistakes, Nidhi says that she made many mistakes but learned to love and respect her art. She loves to paint for her own peace and happiness and believes that nature is the best teacher.

When asked about her role models, Nidhi says that her biggest mentor is her guru, Paramahansa Yogananda. The other role models are her mother and teachers.

In her spare time, Nidhi likes to travel, sing, dance, and do photography.

Nidhi advises aspirants to her field not to compromise on their practise and not to limit themselves when using colours. Keep doing things and don’t ever give up, she says.
