As a passionate baker, Neha happily took up the opportunity to make people’s occasions much happier and celebratory through her venture, Little's Cakes and Ice Creams.

Neha Kedia is a homemaker from Kolkata who started her journey in the food industry in 2016. She joined a baking course and slowly took it up as her full-time profession. Through continuous practice and knowledge of the nitty-gritty of cooking, Neha became better at it day-by-day. She makes ice cream and bakes cakes for her customers according to their requirements.

Neha draws inspiration from Saroj Jalan, who is a designer. She used to work under her before her marriage and was inspired by her hard work and dedication. Neha was born and brought up in Kolkata and completed her schooling at St. Augustine's Day School. Thereafter, she continued her studies at Haryana Vidya Mandir. Neha completed her college studies at Shri Shikshayatan College and then went ahead with her interest in baking. Neha started small by baking cakes for her friends and relatives on their special occasions. She got motivated by their positive feedback and decided to launch her business.

Talking about her challenges, Neha shares that besides work, she has responsibilities of her children and family to cater to. Managing both these together has always been a struggle for her. However, with support from her family and a bit of word-of-mouth publicity, her customer base increased.

Neha’s mantra in life is to keep working hard and moulding yourself as per the ongoing trend. She says that aspiring bakers need to be aware of cake trends and various designs.

When asked about her hobbies, Neha says that she enjoys cooking and trying different recipes for her family.
