Neha Bhatt is the owner of Ampu Tea Stall, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Her startup took birth after a tragic accident. A former primary school teacher, Neha now owns a tea stall, which she started with a minimum investment.
Describing her struggles, Neha shares that an accident left her with scars and stitches on her face and that she was bedridden for six months. On a trip from Ahmedabad to Mahuva, the bus Neha was travelling in was hit by a truck, and she was severely injured. Due to profuse bleeding and injury, her left leg had to be amputated. This started an immense struggle in her life.
Not just her leg, Neha also lost her memory, which was the most traumatic experience for her. Neha has been living alone in Ahmedabad for the past ten years. She had to quit her teaching job due to her physical condition and could not take up other professions either. Thereafter, Neha decided to start something of her own. Neha goes on to share that she continues to face physical issues in her day-to-day activities.
Talking about her journey, Neha shares that tea had been one of her favourite beverages, so she decided to start a tea shop and try her luck. Gradually, her customer base increased from a thousand to five thousand people in a day, leaving her astonished. Being an inspiration to those around her and being appreciated for her efforts infuses Neha with positivity, which also helps her keep any negativity at bay.
Neha was also given the tag of "successful businesswoman," which is also an achievement for her. Being covered by the media as ‘Mahuva ki Neha Bhatt’ was also a proud moment for her.
