Neena Mehta was born in Udaipur and then her family shifted to a village. Her father had a business there. Neena’s childhood was spent in her village where she learned skills like stitching and embroidery among others.
She says that after marriage, all her time was spent in household chores. Neena says that half her life went like this and they shifted back to Udaipur for their children’s studies. After getting free from all her responsibilities, Neena came to know about the Modicare business. Her daughter-in-law’s father made Neena aware of this business and Neena then joined it. Soon she opened a shop and started getting a good number of customers.
Today Neena is on the third-highest level of Crown Diamond Director in Modicare and is very happy about her achievements in life. She feels that till now her identity was linked to her father, husband and children but now she can say that she is also a businesswoman. Neena says that out of the ten people she tries to convince, around five people do agree with her and take the products. With the business she has done till now, Neena was able to make a trip to Thailand and Pattaya with her husband.
Neena feels that Education and Experience both have equal importance in life. However, for her, Experience proved to be more important in her business.
Neena shares that during Covid she conducted Zoom meetings with her clients and her business did not suffer. She advises everyone to have a side business like Modicare as many regular businesses suffered losses.
Neena says that getting financial freedom helps in many ways. Now she has kept a maid and helper and concentrates on her business. She also has earned a sense of identity. She also says that her daughter-in-law and son supported her throughout and always encouraged her to move forward in her life.
Neena considers her mother as her role model. Her mother was from a Metro city and lived her life in a village. She says that her mother always wanted her kids to have a good education and not end up in a village.
Neena is also fond of sports and has played games like Gilli-Danda and Badminton in her younger days.
