Once dreaming of a corporate career, Nazuk now thrives as a multifield entrepreneur. She serves healthy delights at her café and sells her own curated beauty products online, turning her passions into successful ventures.

Nazuk Batra wears many hats. She is the owner of the ‘Strawesome’ café, the co-owner of ‘Dolly’s Impressions’ salon, and a skincare formulator who sells her products online under the brand name ‘Blushing Bodies’.

Born in Nagpur and raised in Bikaner, Nazuk Batra completed her education at Sophia Girls College. Reflecting on her childhood, she fondly recalls growing up in a close-knit family that enjoyed playing indoor board games like Ludo. Due to financial constraints, they couldn't go on trips, but they created cherished family traditions that Nazuk treasures.

Nazuk Batra initially aspired to enter the corporate world, but fate had other plans for her. Her mother ran a salon in Bikaner, and soon after completing college, Nazuk joined her to learn the ropes. However, her corporate dreams took her to Jaipur, where she launched her career, and later to Mumbai, where she excelled as a customer support head. Despite her success, the idea of starting her own venture began to take root in her mind, especially after meeting her partner, an avid foodie.

Returning to Bikaner, Nazuk Batra and her husband opened their own café, blending their passions for food and entrepreneurship. Her interest in skincare products also flourished, leading her to create and sell her own line of skincare items online. In doing so, Nazuk found herself back in the salon industry, reconnecting with the world she had left behind a decade earlier.

Nazuk Batra believes struggles are integral to life. Coming from a small city, she faced limited opportunities and exposure compared to metro cities. The COVID-19 pandemic was particularly challenging as it severely impacted all her businesses.

Despite these challenges, Batra takes pride in her achievements. Managing her businesses independently is a significant accomplishment. She has honed skills in graphic designing, branding, marketing, and social media, viewing each skill as a mini achievement.

Her mother is her role model. Nazuk admires her mother's ability to make a name for herself in a small city and considers even being twenty percent of her mother a great personal achievement.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nazuk was pregnant and spent most of her time taking care of herself. Her family routine included playing games like Uno, Ludo, and Monopoly. She also used this time to deepen her knowledge of skincare.

Batra emphasizes honesty in all endeavors. She ensures the best quality food at her café, uses top-tier products in her salon, and adheres to best practices as a skincare formulator, believing that trust is crucial for success.

Her advice to the youth is to start early, explore alternative interests alongside studies, take risks, and experiment. Nazuk Batra’s success mantra is to be honest in whatever you do.
