Naresh Rathore runs a Poha manufacturing business in Baran.

Naresh Rathore was born in Sisauli village in Uttar Pradesh. However his family shifted to Sultanpur in search of work. He got enrolled in a school in Sultanpur itself, but he only studied till eighth grade and then had to drop out of school to financially help out his family.

Naresh did many businesses, from being a ragman to starting a sweet shop and selling fruits, vegetables and also icecreams, etc. But tragedy struck when his house got burned in fire. Thus his family condition became very desperate. At the time, his neighbours helped his family with some rations.

In 1995, his father’s loan was approved and thereafter he started a Poha business. His father used to manufacture Poha and he used to help his father in selling the produce. He learned the basics of the business with his father and after gaining some experience, he took responsibility for the business. In the meantime, Naresh got married and gradually, his financial condition also improved.

Currently, Naresh is in a well-to-do condition and his business is also thriving.
