Naresh Chand Goyal is a consultant who owns Lord K Consultancy.
Naresh hails from Delhi.
Sharing about his journey, Naresh says that he had been fortunate enough to receive a good education, and completing 36 years in government service is like an achievement to him. He has also traveled around the world. His organization, Indian Railways sent him to Europe, the USA, and Japan for training. While he was in service, he took many courses, such as the Art of Living course, various meditation courses, and motivational courses, that led him to start his own consultancy after his retirement.
In 2020, during COVID, he conducted a meditation class daily for 24 continuous days, which was attended by many from India as well as from abroad. This inspired him to come to this field of motivation and meditation. He likes helping and reaching out to people.
Recalling his childhood, Naresh says that he had a fantastic childhood. He did his schooling in his hometown. Thereafter, he moved to Delhi for his higher studies and pursued an LLB. While doing an LLM in Delhi, he got selected for the civil services. But he continued studying and completed his LLM from Bombay University in 2004, when he was posted in Mumbai. He also did a postgraduate course in tours and travels, and recently he was awarded a PhD degree from the American National University.
Sharing about his mistakes, Naresh says that he made no major mistakes and took up every opportunity that made him grow in his life and career.
Talking about his achievements, Naresh says that he got a scholarship at every stage as he topped every class. His biggest accomplishment is that he got into the civil service. He got posted in some really interesting places. Even after retirement, he never sits idle and likes to work for the people.
When asked about his role models, Naresh says Swami Vivekananda, Ratan Tata, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sachin Tendulkar are his ideals and role models. He says that he has learned values from their way of living.
In times of stress, Naresh does meditation and remains calm.
