Narendra changed his perspective on his career after his MBA. He decided to start a school to educate children in such a way to make them better citizens of tomorrow.

Narendra Kumar Gupta is the Chairman of Pioneer Public School in Udaipur.

Recalling his childhood, Narendra says his father was a well-known lawyer in Udaipur. He believes his father, mother, and teachers have contributed a lot in developing his personality and making him what he is today.

Narendra did his schooling at Navbharat Senior Secondary School and Fatah School, Udaipur. He completed his graduation in Agriculture Science. His father wanted him to become a lawyer, but he pursued an MBA. It gave him a different perspective on things. He had a great interest in reading and used to read a large number of books.

Sharing about his journey, Narendra says he started his own MBA college with a purpose to prepare manpower for society. His experience in his MBA college made him realize that the first 15 years of a person's life are the most important.

Talking about his challenges, Narendra says he established Pioneer Public School after 2013, hired a principal, and asked the teachers to educate children in a different manner. Once, due to some issues, the principal and all the staff did not report for duty. He took it as a challenge to run the school, and the next day he fired all the teachers and hired new staff for the school.

Narendra believes that the success of a school depends on the development of the students. Furthermore, he says that bookish knowledge contributes only 15 percent to a career. The most important thing is wisdom and the skills of outer knowledge.

Sharing his pandemic experiences, Narendra says it taught us many things, such as the importance of hygiene. People also understood the importance of life beyond money.

Talking about leadership, Narendra says he is not a leader as he is pursuing a mission where people continue to join and form a group with the motive to provide something to society.

When asked what he would change if he had a chance to go back in time in a time machine, Narendra says he would like to be a more obedient son, as many times he did not listen to elders, which he regrets.

Narendra’s life mantra is "Development of Wisdom."

Sharing his opinion on education and experience, Narendra says both education and experience are incomplete without each other.

Advising the young generation, Narendra says teaching is a job with responsibilities. You need to take care of a child, considering them as your son or daughter in order to become a successful teacher.
