After completing his MBA during recession, Narendra Singh wasn’t getting a job, but due to his competence and professionalism, he is now working in the retail sector for many years.

Narendra Singh Chouhan is working as an Accountant at the Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) Jewellers in Udaipur.

Narendra was born and raised in Kanod, a small town near Udaipur. He had completed his MBA around the recession period in 2009 and as a result, jobs were not available. So he joined an NGO and worked there for around one and a half years. Thereafter, he got employed at Next Retail India in Gujarat as an Accountant. After some time, he got promoted to Store Manager and was transferred to Gandhidham.

Narendra worked at Next Retail India for about a year before finally joining TBZ in 2013. After working for one and a half years in Gandhidham, Narendra decided that he should apply for transfer to Udaipur and he got transferred to Udaipur and has been working there since then.

Talking about his achievements, Narendra says that he represented his state in a project making competition at national level. There he also got to meet the late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

Narendra considers his mother to be his role model. Her mother always stood by him and motivated him. He says that her ‘Zindadili’ inspires him.

During the lockdown, Narednra was a little bit worried about his job but everything turned out to be well in the end. And on a personal level, he enjoyed it very much as he says that he never got to celebrate any festival with his family due to his job, but that time he got this chance. He also got time to finally hang out with his old friends during the lockdown.

Whenever he gets free time, Narendra likes to play cricket, and sometimes he cooks too. Spending time with his friends and family is also something that he savours.

If Narendra could go back in time, he would like to visit the ancient times and observe the lifestyle of legendary kings and their wars.

Narendra's advice to the youngsters is that whatever they do, they should do it with total dedication and give their hundred percent to it.
