Nandani is a tattoo artist who went against the normal flow of society to create the life that she desired. Today she is a self-made woman and runs her own tattoo studio.

Nandani Dangwal is a tattoo artist and owner of Amaranthine Tattoos in Dehradun.

Nandani says that she had an interest in drawing and art from her childhood itself. She used to win every drawing competition and was also the art and craft captain of her school.

Nandani feels that shifting from Paper and Charcoal mode to real skin and getting into the field of tattooing was a very big thing for her. She says that everything, from deciding to become a tattoo artist to setting up her own studio, was done single-handedly by her.

Nandani shares that her family was not in support of her choice of career in the beginning. However, she started training under one tattoo artist and learned the basics of the field before starting her own tattoo studio.

Her main inspiration for work is Black Hawk and Gothic Culture. She also draws her designs from nature and human anatomy and feels that there is nothing dark or negative in drawing inspiration from death.

Nandani advises the youth to do what they like in life and not what society confirms for them.

In her free time, Nandani likes playing games, cosplaying, and spending time with her two dogs and a cat.
