Muskan Jain works as a spoken English trainer at TILS Education in Bhilwara. Born and raised in Bhilwara, she completed her early education at a local government school. Currently, she teaches spoken English at one of the renowned schools in the city and is also involved in various offline and online projects with TILS Education.
Muskan explains that she chose teaching as her profession because it allows her to continue learning throughout her life while also sharing her knowledge with others.
Reflecting on her childhood, Muskan fondly recalls a cherished memory of going on early morning walks with her friends and siblings during summer vacations. Despite feeling lazy initially, the thought of reuniting with loved ones and the desire to achieve physical fitness motivated her to overcome her laziness. This experience taught her that when one focuses on the bigger picture in life, excuses appear insignificant in comparison to the rewarding results that can be achieved.
When asked about her role model, Muskan shares that she finds inspiration in the qualities of various individuals rather than looking up to a single person. She specifically mentions three people who have influenced her: her basketball senior, Rashi Khotani, an international basketball player who taught her the importance of pushing her limits in everything she does. Secondly, her teacher, Madhu, inspired her to incorporate discipline and subject proficiency into her teaching style. Lastly, Abhilash Modi, the co-founder of TILS Education and her English teacher, showed her how to blend life knowledge and skills into her teaching approach.
Muskan finds inspiration in a quote by Mahatma Gandhi: "An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind." She interprets this quote as a reminder that, despite the challenges and negativity in the world, it is our responsibility to uphold goodness. Succumbing to negativity only perpetuates it, leaving no room for positivity.
Reflecting on her journey, she recalls the challenges she faced when she started teaching at a young age. It was difficult for her to prove herself among experienced professionals and gain acceptance from students. However, she persevered, and with time, things began to work in her favor. Now, she teaches not only to students but also to professionals, often addressing crowds of 30–40 students.
Muskan Jain reflects on her achievements, categorising them into tangible and intangible accomplishments. Tangible achievements include opportunities to speak on public speaking platforms as well as deliver talks on national and international stages. Additionally, she has had the privilege to teach in a project organised by Rajasthan Patrika.
In terms of intangible achievements, Muskan shares a profound realisation she experienced in her teaching journey. Initially, she used to assess students solely based on their performance and actions. However, she gradually came to understand that each student has their own unique needs and perspectives, and it takes time for them to embark on their learning journey. This realisation led her to become more patient and understanding towards her students.
Expressing her thoughts on the teaching profession, Muskan emphasises the importance of educators remaining unaffected by social pressures and external influences. She believes that succumbing to societal expectations can lead teachers to stray from their true purpose, which is to foster the holistic development of students' personalities. Therefore, she stresses the necessity for teachers to stay true to their core values and not be swayed by societal pressures.
Muskan's message emphasises the profound impact of our words on our image and interactions with others. She advises choosing words thoughtfully, as they reflect our true selves to the world. By selecting positive and meaningful words, we can create a favourable impression and build strong relationships. She stresses the importance of considering the true meaning of words and whether they truly represent us before using them.
She proudly states that according to Google, TILS Education is the premier spoken English institute in Bhilwara. She asserts that students at TILS receive top-notch education in the English language. Therefore, she highly recommends TILS Bhilwara to anyone seeking to learn English and enhance their personality, as it is the best institute for such endeavours.
