A self-motivated and driven lady, Muskan has really big dreams in life and she is striving to turn those dreams into reality.

Muskan Ganglani is a Fashion Designer. She has an Instagram page named, “ Brown Girl Fantasy” which she started three years ago, and whereon she posts about her clothing designs. Besides, she also works for a BPO company.

Born and raised in Dubai, Muskan, after having spent the first seventeen years of her life there, moved to India. She did her B.Sc. in India.

Muskan shares that in Dubai, she always used to feel anxious and inferior as people there were far better off than she was. However, when she moved to India, she realized how much she had and how much she knew, which helped her be at peace.

Muskan says about Covid that the pandemic has been tough for us all. She faced some anxiety issues during the pandemic and even lost one of her relatives to the virus. However, finding opportunity in the adversity, she worked on her business too alongside her job. She became more active on her Instagram page, posted about new clothing designs, and promoted her business there the best she could.

To girls aspiring to become fashion designers, Muskan advises them to just follow their dreams without heeding anyone. She says that your emotional and mental well-being totally depends on you and not what others think about you.

Muskan is her own inspiration. She believes in becoming a better version of herself with each passing day. However, YouTuber – Lilly Singh inspired her at some point in time.

About challenges that she faced in life, Muskan says that she has been battling anxiety since her childhood. Owing to this she faced various health problems and it also impacted her studies.

Muskan thinks that both Education and Experience are important. However, she says that your experience matters more in life. She says that if you just keep reading about things, you will never learn to implement them and for that hands-on experience is indispensable. She says she has learned more about Fashion Designing through her experiences than her education in the same discipline.

Her Success Mantra is to always believe in herself and to believe that things will surely fall into place for her one day.

If she could go back in time in a Time Machine, Muskan would want to be born in a heterodox family which would be more open and accepting of her. Besides, she would also want to undo some of her personal mistakes.

In her spare time, Muskan likes to dance, watch movies, hang out with her friends at cafes, listen to Radio, paint, sketch, and explore places.

Muskan thinks that being able to get some recognition from people for what she does has been her biggest achievement to date.
