Keeping a balance between smart and hard work, Muskan Ahuja is progressing in her field. She desires that everyone should know about fashion illustrators.

Muskan Ahuja is a fashion designer and illustrator by profession. She has been working in this field for two years. She also does customized work for people who want to recreate their memory images for themselves.

Muskan was born and brought up in Vadodara, Gujarat. She had been interested in art since her childhood. After her 12th, she opted for Fine Arts but due to some reasons she was not selected for that. She felt that fashion designing was the last option for her. So she joined the fashion designing course from a reputed institute in India.

Talking about her journey of working in the field of fashion illustration, Muskan says that fashion illustration was a subject in her course. But it was always taken very lightly and was not popular among people. She found that there is a good scope in this field. After completing her studies, she started exploring the field and finally she started getting clients from all over the world. She did not have the knowledge about networking and digital art. As time passed, she learnt everything, says Muskan. She had learnt that we should follow what our heart says and should not bother about what others say.

Regarding mistakes in her life, Muskan says that we all make mistakes but we should learn from them.

Sharing about her achievements, Muskan says that once she created an illustration for a couple from Panama City, US, for which she received nine lakhs views on Instagram which was her great achievement. She also considers her parents' pride in her work as her greatest achievements, says Muskan.

Muskan's success mantra is - Everything doesn't go according to our plan, but in the end everything goes better and that is better than our plan. Don't hesitate to do any work. Keep exploring yourself.

When asked about role models in her life, Muskan says that she was inspired by the teaching technique of Niranjan Sir, her school teacher. She also considers her father as her role model whose struggle always inspires her.  She discusses every problem with him and his opinion matters to her the most. Muskan has also learnt from many people who came her way.

To the aspirants to the field of illustration, Muskan says that they should keep progressing everyday with their techniques and keep exploring new ideas. She also advises that they should be extroverted, speak to people openly, be open minded and don't mind what people will give in response. Never say 'no'. Every experience counts. When you are a beginner you should try everything to gain experience as much as you can, suggests Muskan.

To one and all, Muskan advises that they should never feel guilty for whatever they have done. They should always enjoy their work.
