An RJ and Anchor, Mumal is entertaining people and giving them fresh vibes of life with her anchoring. She also has a dream of joining the Indian Army.

Mumal Ranwat was born and raised in Udaipur. She is an anchor and an RJ who is also preparing for Indian Army Interviews. She says she joined NCC to understand the Indian Army, wanted to learn the discipline as a soldier, and wanted to have a glimpse of a soldier’s life. As she was fond of the Indian Army since her childhood days, she chose to be an Indian Army Officer. She says her maternal aunt is the inspiration behind this, as she is a Captain with the NCC.

Mumal tells us proudly about her NCC achievements  as she led the NCC Senior Wing contingent at the Republic Day parade in New Delhi on January 26 in front of the President of India. She takes pride in saying that she was also awarded the highest rank of the NCC and it was a proud moment for her.

Mumal aspires to be an Indian Army Officer and has suggestions for younger cadets to understand the whole procedure of selection by the SSB. She says students generally have no idea about the NCC through which they can get a direct chance of appearing for the interview rounds without giving written exams i.e. the CDS exam. Mumal believes students who want to pursue their career in the Army, Navy, or Air Force need to get ready in their minds and body both.

Mumal shares her journey as a RJ. She looks back to the time when she was merely a 16-17-year-old girl who loved to listen to radio programmes. She was a big fan of one of the famous RJs of the city and wanted to meet him. One day she saw an advertisement for summer classes conducted by a Newspaper group also offering classes for aspiring RJs.

Mumal says that was her  start and from there she sailed on the boat of Radio Jockeying and anchoring, she was also the youngest RJ at Big FM.

Sharing  her interests, Mumal says she is a big foodie, loves to listen to  poems, and also loves to write poems specially on the bond between Krishna and Radha. She says she is a big fan of Kumar Vishwas and Manoj Muntashir whose poems are the reason for her motivation in this field.
