Mukesh followed the step-by-step process of starting a business and opened his own photography studio. He has done more than 200 wedding projects and tries to make his pictures more real and happy.

Mukesh Kumar Singh is a Wedding Photographer and the Founder and Director of MKS Clicks. He has been working in this field for the last seven years.

Mukesh is currently residing in Mumbai. He did his graduation in BCA.

Recalling his childhood, Mukesh says that he had a pretty normal childhood. His parents would always encourage him to study well.

Mukesh shares that after completing his education, he came to Mumbai to pursue a course at the National Institute of Photography. Thereafter, he started working for a company and did freelancing too. He also worked with his seniors to gain experience. After some time, he started his own company, MKS Clicks. Currently, he has a team of twelve members. He has worked with some well-known companies like Axikon, Godrej, and many more. He also does wedding photography.

Sharing about his journey, Mukesh says that when he started, the concept of pre-wedding and post-wedding shoots was on the rise. He liked photographing the natural and sweet moments of couples but it was a bit challenging as the couples were not professional actors. The appreciation of his clients made him continue in this field.

Talking about his challenges, Mukesh says that his parents wanted him to pursue  MCA and do something in the same field, but he chose to pursue photography, which was not acceptable to his parents. However, he says that surviving in this field is challenging, and sometimes it is difficult to get the work that he really wants.

Speaking of mistakes, Mukesh says that, learning from his mistakes, he now pays attention to every single detail.

Talking about his achievements, Mukesh says that gaining the trust of his clients and growing his business to such heights is like an achievement to him.

When asked about his role models, Mukesh says that he draws inspiration from the people for whom he is photographing. He has also learned a lot from his mentor, Abhishek.

For mental peace, Mukesh likes to spend time with the people he loves.

Mukesh’s life mantra is to do good to others.

To all those who want to pursue photography, Mukesh advises them to start learning from any source that they can access. Buy a camera and start clicking pictures because the first thousand pictures might be bad, but your skills are going to get better with time and experience.
