Mukesh Sharma runs his family's furniture business at Thokar Choraha in Udaipur, which has been serving the market for more than thirty years.
Mukesh says that he developed an interest in furniture work from a young age and began learning it alongside his studies. Additionally, he started his own NGO, Shree Paras Hazare Charitable Society, and established the organization Seva Udaipur, focusing on blood donation and various other causes.
Mukesh says that he has donated blood eighty-nine times and provided assistance to many people during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regarding his academic journey, Mukesh says that he completed his schooling in three different schools and initially pursued science in college. However, he later switched to B.A studies and later obtained an M.A in Public Administration. After a twenty-three year pause, he resumed his education, achieving an LLB degree, and is now preparing for a diploma in literature.
Mukesh emphasizes the importance of facing difficulties in life and believes that one should not shy away from challenging situations.
Mukesh loves playing outdoor games as his hobby.
Mukesh shares that he founded the NGO in memory of his father-in-law and was the first one to donate blood within the organization. He also shares that during the COVID-19 crisis, he donated his plasma every fifteen days to help others. Mukesh is committed to body and organ donation, inspiring others to do the same. He believes that everyone should engage in small social work initiatives.
Mukesh also works to raise awareness about seatbelt safety after a near-fatal car accident in 2022, where he lost a friend.
To aspiring entrepreneurs, Mukesh offers valuable advice to stay determined and honest, treat employees as family, and gain proper knowledge before starting any business. He believes that anyone can engage in small social work initiatives.
