Mukesh Joshi hails from Ajmer district in Rajasthan. From a young age, he started reading spiritual books and became inclined toward spiritualism. After completing his bachelor’s and master's, he took a two-year diploma course at International Vastu Academy. He also did a Ph.D. in the same field. For the past seventeen years, he has been working in the field of Vastu.
Mukesh spent his childhood in Ajmer. He completed his education in Ajmer itself. Mukesh’s maternal grandparents always inspired him to go toward spiritualism. They would teach him verses from various Indian religious texts.
Mukesh says that Indian scriptures are the result of thousands of years of research work done by our ancient ascetics. Furthermore, he says that these are very scientific, and we should have unqualified faith in them.
Mukesh laments that there is no recognition given to Vastu experts by the state. Owing to this, people hesitate to accept Vastu as an academic discipline. But he says that owing to digitalization, there’s awareness in society, and Vastu experts have gotten a platform to share their knowledge with the masses.
Mukesh says that initially he had to face some hiccups in establishing himself. But with time and the advent of social media, he has been able to create a name for himself.
Mukesh advises that to make a career in the field of Vastu, one should have thorough knowledge of this field. He also points out that unfortunately, some people who don’t have proper knowledge of the Vastu Shastra practice it, which is worrisome. Besides, one should gain knowledge from an experienced guru before practicing independently.
Mukesh says that leaders are born, not produced. He continues to say that leadership qualities can be enhanced with time.
If he could go back in time, then Mukesh would want to enjoy his childhood more. He says that he could not strike a balance between studies and extracurriculars, which he would want to do now, going back in time. He also advises parents that for kids, activities beyond academics are as important as academics, and finding the right balance between the two is important.
