Following his childhood passion for fashion, Muhammed launched a clothing brand that provides bespoke tailoring to level up the lifestyle and fashion of people.

Muhammed Sarthaj is the creative head and founder of  Maniverse Lifestyle, a clothing brand based in Calicut.

Muhammed was born and raised in Calicut, a city in Kerala.

Recalling his childhood, Muhammed says that his childhood was spent joyfully. He had always loved to play sports but was a shy kid. Besides, from the beginning, he had been interested in fashion.

Muhammed shares that after completing college when he was looking for a job, he got an opportunity from a street cloth seller to sell clothes. He sold more than ninety percent of the clothes that the seller gave him and it led him to get another opportunity from one of his friends who worked in the garment industry. He initially worked with his friend part-time and then was given the job of a full-time storekeeper.  After working in the garments selling industry for about three years, in 2018, along with his two friends, he launched his own clothing brand in Calicut.

To aspiring businessmen, Muhammed advises them to have a master plan as to what they will be doing in the next six months.

Muhammed says that he has no educational degree in fashion. Only with self-belief and hard work, he has been able to achieve success with his clothing brand.

When asked about his role models, Muhammed says that the owner of the store where he worked was his role model. Besides, Christiano Ronaldo, and Michael Jordan, who made their own names in their fields, are his role models.

Muhammed believes that no matter what, hard work always beats talent.

Reviewing his COVID experience, Muhammed says that during the pandemic he faced some challenges in his clothing business. But he remained patient and waited for the right time to come.  And when things started to normalize he started getting back to his business.

His message to people is to work hard in silence and let your success make all the noise.
