Monika Bhatt is a Marketing Manager and a Freelance Singer who likes old songs and feels that their essence will never get lost.

Monika Bhatt was born and brought up in Dungarpur, Rajasthan. She did her graduation from there and then her MCA from Geetanjali Institute, Udaipur. She is currently working as a Marketing Manager in a stones export company in Udaipur and also does freelance Singing shows.

Monika says that her mother is a good singer and used to make Monika also listen to old songs. Monika used to participate in college events and functions and her interest in singing increased.

During her masters in Udaipur, she thought of learning the Guitar and joined Sur Sangam Academy. There, her mentors Ashok Dalvi and Sourabh Dalvi suggested she learn Vocals as well and she started her Vocal training. Since that point, she has been Singing and has come a long way ahead.

Monika says that her Success Mantra in life is to think positive, create positive vibes for others, do everything from the heart and never force yourself into something you do not wish to do.

Monika shares that her parents are her Role Models and she has learned a lot from them. She is also inspired by Asha Bhosle and Jagjit Singh, and the popular singer Arijit Singh is her favorite.

Talking about her achievements, Monika says that she was rewarded by Chetan Bhagat during her college days. She has also worked with the famous Rajasthani folk singer Mame Khan

Monika shares that there are a few things that she regrets in life. She says that not concentrating on learning the Guitar properly, declining some of the songs offered to her by the Indian Film Industry, and doing shows that her parents were against are some of them. She also feels that she should have learned classical singing much earlier in life which she did not.

Monika advises Music aspirants to learn basic music notes and practice as much as possible. After that, they should start training under a ‘Guru’ and improve their classical notes.
