Monica has been working in the field of education and research for the last ten years and has served many reputed and prominent universities and colleges. Along with this, she is also a scientist at the Department of Science and Technology.

Monica is a Scientist at the Department of Science and Technology. She has about ten years of experience in the teaching and research field.

Monica belongs to Udaipur. She post-graduated in Chemistry. Then she did her M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from MNIT Jaipur. Soon, she joined the Modi Institute of Technology, Laxmangarh as an Assistant Professor. Then she switched to Shrinathji Institute of Technology & Engineering, Nathdwara. There, she grew from the post of an Assistant Professor to the post of HOD during her seven years tenure. Later she joined Techno India NJR Institute of Technology, Udaipur. Next, she joined the Department of Science and Technology as a Scientist.

Talking about her role models, Monica says she considers Swami Vivekananda and Sudha Murthy as her biggest sources of inspiration. Besides, she draws inspiration from everyone she meets and learns something from them.

Regarding her mistakes, Monica says that initially, she did not know how to understand and deal with people. She feels that early in her career, she dealt with people harshly, but with age, she grew her understanding and became empathetic towards people.

When asked about her achievements, Monica says that getting a merit certificate for passing her post-graduation by merit, was an achievement for her. Apart from this, getting honors from college during her engineering and securing the second position in the engineering competition was no less than an achievement for her. In addition, getting selected to be a member of the Engineering Association was her big achievement.

Sharing her COVID experience, Monica says that it was a hard time for everyone, but it also gave us a chance to stay at home and reunite with our families.

According to Monica, both education and experience are necessary because education provides a foundation on which experience grows.

If Monica could go back in time through a Time Machine, she would like to go back to her college time and accept the offer of doing PhD from MNIT, Jaipur, which she declined earlier.

In her spare time, Monica enjoys dancing and playing the guitar. She is also an avid reader of self-exploration books.

Monica advises the aspiring teachers to be empathetic towards their students so that you can openly interact with them and understand their feelings. She also tells them to be well-equipped with knowledge to be able to have a better utilization of the same.
