Pursuing education in different fields in order to get a better career, Arif chose Museology and Conservation as a career field, which provided him with a huge opportunity to achieve success.

Mohammed Arif is the Superintendent of the famous monument  Jantar Mantar in Jaipur. He has also been serving in the Elemental Museums for nine years.

Hailing from Jaipur, Arif did his secondary schooling at Shri Khandelwal Vaishya School, Jaipur. Later, he pursued his BA at Rajasthan University. He is also an LLB graduate and holds a Master in Arts from Rajasthan University. When he was preparing for government jobs, someone suggested that he do a course in Museology and Conservation. He did a degree course in the subject in 2013 and started serving the state in January 2014.

When asked about his role models, Arif says his parents have been his role models, as they taught him good lessons and morals.

Sharing his opinion on education and experience, Arif says education is important as it is required to get a job and also provides us with knowledge to make better decisions. However, experience is based on education, as better education leads to an effective experience at work.

Advising the younger generation who wants to join the field of museology and conservation, Arif says you should have a proper knowledge of the history of Rajasthan and its historical places, as it will help in the effective accomplishment of tasks. You can apply for government vacancies and should read good books to get the right information about the tours and tourism of Rajasthan.
