Inspired by her father, Mittal started her own ethnic wear brand and feels proud to be the first lady entrepreneur in Surat who deals in women's ethnic manufacturing.

Mittal Patel is a clothing manufacturer and the founder of an ethnic wear brand called M Clothing. She launched her own brand, inspired by her father, who is in the textile industry.

Recalling her childhood, Mittal says that as a six-year-old, she always felt proud to be her father’s daughter and wished to become an entrepreneur herself to set an example. Mittal began designing clothing for herself and her family members in 7th grade, despite having no design experience.

It was only after getting married that Mittal started working professionally and opened her own boutique. It has been two years since she launched her clothing line. Before stepping into the field, Mittal did market research and launched her firm only after three months of planning. Mittal now supplies all over India.

When asked about her role models, Mittal says that her parents and in-laws have been her constant supporters and have instilled positivity in her. She is also thankful to her husband, who encouraged her to pursue her potential and create something out of it. Mittal is a great believer in the Bhagavad Gita and says that it has helped her find solutions to many problems.

Whenever faced with any challenges, Mittal reminds herself of her children and works harder to set herself as an example to them. She also reminds herself of how far she has come in life and that she will have to step out of her comfort zone to make her dreams a reality. These self-motivating thoughts keep Mittal going.

Mittal says that the success of a lady entrepreneur depends on how well she is able to manage her business and at the same time fulfill her family's needs. She attributes her success to her mother, who had always kept her connected with fashion since her childhood.
