Mehul owns a tiles and sanitaryware business. Along with that, he also deals in traditional Rajasthani gokhdas, arches and pillars, which he manufactures too.
Mehul shares that he had faced struggles in his initial years of business in the traditional gokhdas. All three of his sites ended up in loss, and he thought of shutting down the business entirely. But he kept hope, and gradually the business grew and started to flourish. He also deals in pipe fittings, plumbing, sanitaryware, tiles, etc., and is doing very well.
Mehul says the Covid days gave him some negative experiences like the closure of business and some positives that include the quality family time that he enjoyed.
Mehul advises the new businesspersons in this field to understand their customers, have a design-focused approach, and provide good service. These factors, if mastered, give manifold business growth.
According to Mehul, education and experience are equally essential. His role models are his parents and wife. His friends are also his motivators and support.
Mehul has achieved the mark of selling the highest quantity of adhesives in a year in Rajasthan. He feels that he should maintain proper accounts as it facilitates quick payments.
Mehul plays cricket, watches TV and films, hangs out with friends or his wife, and does gardening when free.
If given a chance to time travel back in time, he would want to relive his high school days or his carefree childhood days.
He is a positive and fun-loving human who likes to spread happiness and laughs. The only motivation that keeps him going is the business competition. He is an optimist, who believes in focusing on the present and future, rather than the past. He believes in being happy and keeping the family environment positive.
