Mehar has always been a very ambitious girl and does not like to sit idle at all. She is a CA by profession and Founder of MSB Vision, besides being a Strategy Consultant in a company in London.

Mehar Sindhu Batra is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA from Imperial College, London.

Mehar was born and brought up in New Delhi. She did her schooling from there itself. She completed her B.Com from Delhi University and pursued CA. After that, she worked at KPMG for five years and then joined another Big Four company. Then she went to London to do her MBA and after its completion, she worked in many startups in London. Now she is working as a Strategy Consultant in London itself. Along with that, she guides students about their careers on the online platforms by sharing tips and tricks to move forward in life through her ‘MSB Vision.”

Mehar says that the Covid time has not been good for anyone as it has left a lot of stress, negativity and anxiety among the people. But she thought of doing something positive out of it so she started focusing on creating better content for her online videos and conducted more resourceful workshops for young professionals. Doing all this had a good effect on MSB Vision.

Mehar believes that in today’s era, having a degree or adequate qualification is a must because it is the only way that can take you through. But it is only necessary to give a kickstart to your career but after that what you learn and gain knowledge about matters the most. On the basis of that experience your future will be decided.

Mehar advises the young generation that whenever you get a chance to do any work, you should go for it without thinking that your studies are still going on or have not been completed yet. Also, your focus should not be on how much you are getting paid. Just focus on learning because the sooner you learn to work in a hectic environment, the more knowledge and experience you will gain that will help you excel in your field in the future.

Talking about achievements, Mehar says she was approached by ‘Josh Talks’ a media platform in Gurugram to have a talk show with her and it was the proudest moment for her. Apart from that, becoming a CA was a great achievement for her.

Mehar suggests the young students and young professionals not to take so much pressure at such a young age in their initial career years because you have a long way to go. Don’t get hurt by failures and stop comparing yourself to others. Just focus on yourself and be a better version of yourself.

In her spare time, Mehar likes reading, listening to podcasts and cooking. Also, she is a social person, so she likes spending time with her friends and family. She likes to go for a walk in the park and play badminton.
