Instead of becoming a lawyer, Meeta preferred becoming a Law Professor. She tries to make people aware of their constitutional rights and believes in providing quality education to children with her honesty, hard work and dedication.

Meeta Choudhary is working as an Assistant Professor in the Law Department at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, Udaipur. Besides taking classes she is also responsible for organising other activities for B.A. L.L.B. students every Saturday. Recently they took students to Pratap Gaurav Kendra for an educational excursion.

Meeta describes the types of activities they conduct as per today’s time where they make people aware that being a citizen of India, they should at least know their fundamental rights and duties. Women should know the provisions related to any atrocity and related laws.

Meeta has done L.L.M. in Mercantile Law having specialization in  Hindu and Muslim Personal Laws. Currently, she is pursuing PhD on muslim women.

Meeta has always been interested in teaching so even after doing her L.L.B. and L.L.M., she never went to practise law. Instead she entered into the teaching field and started her journey from Dr Nagendra Singh Law College, Banswara and then from there she went to Chittor as an Acting Principal for one year. But because she hails from Udaipur, she came back here in 2004 and has been working here ever since.

As per Meeta, if anyone wants to go into the teaching line then first of all he should have immense interest in this field because lacking interest, no person can progress in any field. And after becoming a teacher they should be well-versed with the teaching methods and techniques and must carry out their profession honestly.

Meeta says the Covid pandemic was full of struggles and she had to shift her teaching from classroom to digital mediums. Teaching on an online platform was a bit troublesome due to technical glitches and other issues but she managed to cope with them.

Teaching as a career is a good option according to Meeta but it is very important to have a command over the subject to have control over students. Hence, to become a good teacher, it is very important to be honest, conscientious and educated.

Apart from work, whenever she is free, she reads books. She likes to cook and travel too.

Meeta took inspiration from her father as he taught Meeta never to be afraid of anything.

Meeta opines that education and experience are two sides of the same coin because if there is no education then there is no experience. She says that as she worked and understood, she learned things from the experience. She has also developed a lot of confidence with time and experience.

If Meeta had a chance to go back to the past, she would go back to her first job as she considers it to be the golden phase of her life.

Meeta says that today’s generation doesn't believe in working hard at all which is a hurdle towards progress. So they need to be sincere towards their work to be able to be successful in life.
