Meenakshi Shukla is a Pencil Sketch Artist, with an expertise in Graphite and Charcoal mediums.
Meenakshi was interested in art from her childhood itself. She says that she had a traumatic childhood which left her zoned out in life and she could not focus on her studies properly. She found her escape in doodling and sketching and seeing her fine hand in arts got the attention of her parents who then supported her in this journey. She left her studies after her tenth standard and dedicated herself to the field of arts.
Talking about her mistakes in life, she says she used to search for external sources for emotional support, which she considers a mistake. She says that it stopped her from finding her own personality. However, eventually she transferred that dependency on to her art and feels content now.
Sharing about her role models, Meenakshi says that her family is her role model. The way her mother supported her and always motivated her in low times, the creativity his brother induced in her through his intellect and intelligence, the truthfulness her sister instills in her and the calmness his father brings in her, everything motivates and inspires Meenakshi in her life.
When asked about her challenges, Meenakshi says that every artist worries about their place in their field and hence dissipates information and knowledge in a limited way only. Hence, she had to find her own way in the field.
Advising everyone, Meenakshi says that we should never doubt our own abilities, and not worry about failures or success and just focus on our own work.
In her free time, Meenakshi likes journaling, photo shooting, singing and even dancing in her studio alone. She also enjoys learning new skills in life.
