Meenakshi Jain is currently working as a customer relations executive at Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri LTD., Udaipur. She joined TBZ, Udaipur 8 years ago as a customer service executive.
Meenakshi could not continue her studies after school owing to the financial conditions of her family. Meanwhile, she got married too and had a daughter. She says that her marriage could not survive much longer. And after separation from her husband, she was with her parents. This time was very difficult for her. But her parents always supported her and boosted her morale. Her parents always encouraged her to go out and explore. That’s when she took up her first job of teaching. Though the remuneration was not too good, she worked really hard and got promoted within six months. Later she joined TBZ, as a customer service executive. She worked really hard and never let her lack of education impede the way to progress. Within the first month of joining she achieved her target and proved her worth. With her hard work and dedication, she rose to the position of customer service executive. She is quite content with working at TBZ, Udaipur. She has fulfilled all her dreams and wishes for a better education for her daughter going forward.
Meenakshi considers her mother and daughter her inspirations. She says that her daughter always motivates her whenever she feels low. Her mother is a really hard-working woman and always supported her during the lows in her life.
If she could go back in time and undo something Meenakshi would want to complete her education first and then apply for government jobs.
Meenakshi is of the opinion that education and experience both are important in life. In her life, experience has mattered more than her education. She believes that without experience education has no meaning.
Reflecting on her childhood, Meenakshi says that she was a very naughty girl. Her parents would always scold her for her casual attitude toward her studies. She reminisces that she would sell candies as a kid and whatever little she would earn, it was huge for her and she would feel happy.
To anyone who wants to join the jewelry industry, Meenakshi says that if you have some prior sales experience then it’s good to join this industry. Otherwise, there are training sessions conducted to help you groom yourself. Besides, having good communication skills is preferred in this industry.
To unwind herself from her work she says that whatever time she has left after the working hours she likes to spend that time with her daughter and family. She also likes to explore places and cook good dishes.
