Driven by her passion, Meena, a beautician, is moving ahead with her family tradition. She always desires to do something new and creative in her field.

Meena Sen has been the owner of Modern Salon in Udaipur for three years.

Meena was born and brought up in Udaipur itself. She says that she was among the top rankers of her class. Since childhood, she had been interested in the beauty treatment field because many of her family members and her mother were in the beauty field.

Talking about her entry into this field, Meena says that after her 12th, she took training at Prabhat Hair Salon for two years. Then she joined her mother's salon. She also went to Delhi to attend a masters class in makeup. She learned waterproof techniques of makeup in a Brazilian Makeup Workshop held in Udaipur. She desires to show different creativity in her art.

When asked about role models in her life, Meena says that she considers her parents as her role models. She was also inspired by her maternal uncle and aunt who attend different workshops and keep themselves updated.

To the aspirants in this field, Meena advises them that they should keep themselves updated with all the modern techniques. Also, they should always take training.

Advising everyone, Meena says that they should keep practicing always and prove their creativity.
