His true passion lies in fitness, where he has earned titles such as Mr. Mewar and Mr. Udaipur, along with an international silver medal in Karate-Do. As a professional fitness coach, he specializes in weight management, powerlifting, and bodybuilding, helping clients achieve their health goals with personalized diet and training plans.

Mayank Sharma, a dynamic Entrepreneur and Fitness Expert, has built a name for himself through his ventures and with his passion for health. As the owner of The Gym Zone, Shree Krishna Milk Supplier, and MB Finance, he has carved out successful businesses across different sectors. However, his heart beats strongest for fitness, which is reflected in the founding of The Gym Zone in 2012, a gym that has become a hub for those dedicated to transforming their bodies and improving their health.

At The Gym Zone, Mayank Sharma specializes in weight loss, weight gain, and powerlifting competition training, making him a sought-after trainer for both aspiring athletes and fitness enthusiasts. His client base ranges from everyday people eager to get fit to those pursuing professional goals in bodybuilding and powerlifting. Sharma believes that fitness is not a one-size-fits-all journey and approaches each client with personalized strategies. Whether someone is looking to shed a few pounds, build muscle, or prepare for a competition, Mayank crafts a tailored plan for them that suits their specific needs.

One of the standout features of his services is his expertise in weight management and his ability to design personalized diet plans. Understanding that nutrition is a cornerstone of fitness success, he provides custom diet charts that align with his clients’ fitness goals. For individuals with specific medical conditions, Mayank carefully adapts the training and nutrition plans to ensure safety while achieving effective results. His holistic approach to fitness, combining both exercise and nutrition, sets him apart as a coach who genuinely cares about his clients’ well-being.

Mayank Sharma’s expertise and dedication have not gone unnoticed, as he has won numerous titles in his fitness career. He proudly wears the crowns of Mr. Mewar and Mr. Udaipur, prestigious titles that recognize his physical prowess and commitment to the field. In addition to these accolades, he is a District Gold Medalist in Karate and earned a Bronze Medal in the Bharat Vijeta Cup. As if that weren’t enough, Mayank also boasts the title of Strongman of Mewar, further showcasing his remarkable strength and discipline. His achievements go beyond national borders, as he is also an International Silver Medalist in Karate-Do India.

In addition to his role as a fitness trainer and the owner of The Gym Zone, Mayank Sharma has also expanded his entrepreneurial reach with two other successful ventures. Through Shree Krishna Milk Suppliers, he plays a vital role in supporting local farmers by collecting milk from them and ensuring its timely delivery to various parts of the city. His second venture, M&B Finance, offers private financing solutions.

Sharma’s journey into fitness, however, is a deeply personal one. Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, he weighed 108 kgs and was struggling with both obesity and fatty liver disease. At that time, his dream was to become a part of an airline cabin crew. He had even completed a diploma for this, but during the process, the director of the program informed him that his weight would be a barrier to entering the profession. This news became a turning point in his life, motivating him to take control of his health.

In 2019, Mayank Sharma decided to get serious about his fitness and started going to the gym regularly. Although he had joined a gym twice before, his efforts were inconsistent. This time, however, he was determined to make a change. Within three months, he achieved an incredible transformation by losing nearly 29 kgs. His dedication paid off as he not only lost weight but also gained a renewed sense of confidence and determination.

After reaching his fitness goals, Mayank Sharma completed his Cabin Crew Diploma and was ready to pursue his dream. He attended interviews and was preparing for the next steps, but the COVID-19 lockdown brought everything to a halt. The lockdown restrictions prevented him from attending the walk-in interviews that were scheduled in Delhi, putting his aspirations on hold.

Despite this setback, Sharma did not let the circumstances discourage him. His personal fitness transformation fueled his passion for health and wellness, leading him to establish The Gym Zone, where he now helps others achieve their fitness goals. His journey from battling weight issues to becoming a fitness coach not only transformed his life but also serves as an inspiration to many who face similar challenges.

After his initial setback with the aviation industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayank Sharma decided to continue with his fitness journey. During this time, he became increasingly inspired by the bodybuilders he saw at the gym and on social media. A new dream began to form in his mind—he wanted to become a bodybuilder. He shared this dream with his parents, but it was met with hesitation. Coming from a family where no one had ever ventured into fitness or bodybuilding, Mayank was not only the first in his family to pursue such a field, but also the first to even join a gym. Naturally, his parents were skeptical of his decision. After several discussions, they still weren’t convinced.

Mayank Sharma explains that bodybuilding is not only about the intense physical dedication it requires but also about the financial investment required. He shares that to maintain a good physique, a person needs to spend roughly INR 10,000 each month on diet, supplements, and other necessities. And when it comes to competing in bodybuilding events, the expenses increase significantly—requiring anywhere between INR 2 to 2.5 lakh. For a family that had no background in the fitness industry, and after already investing INR 1.5 lakh in Mayank’s aviation diploma, his parents were understandably hesitant to support his new ambition.

Reflecting on the situation, Mayank says he completely empathized with his parents’ concerns. He realized that after leaving the aviation field, it would be difficult for them to place their trust in another career shift, especially one they knew little about. He admits that if he were in their position, he might feel the same way.

Mayank Sharma recalls how, at that time, his focus on this new career path was unwavering. His determination led him to take action. He approached his gym owner and explained that he couldn’t afford to pay for professional bodybuilding training. Instead of giving up, he offered to work as a trainer at the gym during the morning hours in exchange for training.

The gym owner explained to him that being a professional in fitness required far more than just enthusiasm. He pointed out that the rigorous schedule of bodybuilding—focusing on training, rest, diet, and maintaining a disciplined routine—would leave little room for Mayank to work as a trainer. Balancing the demands of bodybuilding with a job in the gym would be nearly impossible. This was a harsh reality for Mayank, but he wasn’t ready to give up just yet.

In a surprising turn of events, Mayank Sharma’s mother stepped in to support his dream in a way he hadn't expected. Behind the scenes, without informing Mayank’s father, she decided to break one of their fixed deposits (FD) worth INR 1.6 lakh to help Mayank finance his bodybuilding journey. This act of quiet sacrifice by his mother allowed Mayank Sharma to cover all the necessary expenses for his fitness training.

With the money in hand, Sharma paid for his fitness training and other related costs. He explains that his gym fee alone was INR 10,000 per month, and since he had to train for four months, he paid his trainer INR 40,000. On top of that, he also needed to invest in supplements—an essential part of bodybuilding.

However, when the topic of supplements came up, Mayank Sharma faced a new challenge. His family, like many others, was filled with concern. The word “supplements” immediately triggered a flood of questions about safety and long-term health impacts. His parents were worried about the possible side effects of supplements on his body and future, with common fears including how these supplements might affect his overall health or even his married life down the line. These concerns were rooted in widespread misconceptions about fitness supplements.

As Mayank Sharma continued his bodybuilding journey, conversations naturally progressed to the topic of steroids. He explains that steroids, particularly growth hormones like testosterone, are often used to push the body beyond its natural limits. Testosterone, a male hormone, is injected to artificially stimulate muscle growth, allowing bodybuilders to develop muscles beyond their natural peak. Sharma clarifies that every body type has a growth limit, and for those serious about professional bodybuilding, these substances are sometimes seen as necessary to break through those natural barriers.

However, this aspect of bodybuilding did not sit well with Mayank’s father. When he became aware of the use of such substances, he was deeply concerned. Fearing for Mayank’s health and well-being, his father took a drastic step—he threw away everything Mayank had been using for his training and put a stop to his bodybuilding journey. It was a moment that halted Mayank’s progress, but his passion for bodybuilding was too strong to be extinguished.

Despite his father’s objections, Mayank Sharma’s love for the sport pushed him to start again. His commitment to bodybuilding remained unwavering, and he continued training with the same determination that had driven him from the start.

All the hard work culminated on December 19, when Mayank Sharma participated in a bodybuilding competition. His relentless dedication paid off as he won both the Mr. Udaipur and Mr. Mewar titles. These victories were not just personal milestones; they represented the triumph of his determination over the challenges he faced—both financial and familial.

Reminiscing about his childhood, Mayank Sharma fondly recalls his early years growing up in Udaipur, where he was born and raised. With his father running a business in the city, Mayank spent his entire childhood in Udaipur. Although the family originally hails from a village near Dabok, Mayank’s roots were firmly planted in the city. His father owned a general store at Thokar Chouraha, and Mayank vividly remembers spending his days enjoying simple pleasures like driving toy cars.

Reflecting on his personality as a child, Mayank describes himself as incredibly stubborn. From a young age, if he set his mind on something, he would pursue it relentlessly, determined to achieve his goals no matter the obstacles. His family was well aware of this trait, and it became a defining part of who he was.

In terms of education, Mayank Sharma completed his schooling at Central Academy School, Sardarpura branch in Udaipur. Later, he transitioned to Mount View School in Bedwas, Udaipur, where he spent four important years shaping his academic foundation. After finishing his school education, he enrolled at Rajasthan Skill Development University, where he pursued an international course in airline management. With his interest in business and finance, he later went on to complete a B.Com degree, rounding out his education with a blend of practical skills and formal qualifications.

When asked about his role models, Mayank Sharma thoughtfully explains that he doesn’t believe in looking up to just one person for inspiration. He recognizes that no single individual is perfect, so he prefers to take the best qualities from different people. In his view, every person has both strengths and weaknesses, and his focus is always on seeing the positives in others. This approach has shaped his outlook on life and helped him learn valuable lessons from various role models.

Mayank Sharma shares that his father has been one of his greatest inspirations, particularly when it comes to hard work and perseverance. He reflects on how his father used to run a dairy, delivering milk door-to-door on a bike. Mayank admires his father’s relentless efforts, which took him from wearing clothes bought from the Sunday market to being able to shop in high-end stores like Woodlands. It is from him that Mayank learned the importance of struggling and pushing through adversity. Watching his father rise from humble beginnings to a more comfortable life taught him that success is not immediate but a result of consistent hard work over time.

Beyond the lessons of hard work, Mayank Sharma mentions that he learned valuable business principles from Narendra Paliwal, a mentor who played a significant role in shaping his business acumen. From Paliwal, Mayank picked up an important rule: to keep business and personal relationships separate. He emphasizes that blending the two can lead to complications, both in business and in personal relations. By maintaining clear boundaries between personal and professional relationships, Mayank believes that both can thrive without one negatively affecting the other. He credits this approach for helping him avoid conflicts and ensuring that his business decisions remain objective, while his personal relationships stay intact.

Mayank Sharma shares a line that has always been a source of motivation for him: "Gham na kar bande, waqt kharab hai, accha waqt laane ke liye abhi puri zindagi padi hai." This quote inspires him to stay hopeful during challenging times and serves as a reminder that tough phases are temporary. He believes that difficulties should be viewed as a form of training from God, preparing individuals for greater heights while also keeping them grounded. For Mayank, these tough moments are essential in shaping one's character, as they not only build resilience but also teach humility.

Mayank Sharma feels strongly that those who have faced struggles and worked their way up from the bottom are less likely to develop ego. He believes that when someone climbs the ladder of success through hard work and perseverance, they remain humble and grounded, valuing each step of the journey. In contrast, he observes that people who reach great heights with ease often develop a sense of ego, which ultimately leads to their downfall.

Mayank Sharma offers valuable advice to those entering the field of fitness and gymming, emphasizing that consistency is the key to success. He notes that while there are countless gym trainers and owners, many gyms close down within a year due to lack of stability. In his view, if someone wants to succeed in this competitive field, it is crucial to maintain regularity in their work and continuously expand their knowledge. Understanding the science behind fitness and being committed to the craft are essential for long-term success.

He also stresses the importance of patience, especially because fitness is a field that yields slow but steady results. Whether it's personal progress in the gym or the growth of a fitness business, results do not come overnight. Mayank believes that success in fitness requires enduring commitment, and those who lack the patience to stay the course often fall short of their goals.

Mayank Sharma shares a quote that resonates with him deeply: "Har din Diwali nahi hoti, kabhi Shraddh bhi aate hai, kabhi Holi bhi hoti hai." Through this, he reminds people that life is full of ups and downs. Every day cannot be a celebration, and there will be challenging times. Sharma emphasizes that it's during these tough phases that one's resilience is tested. He believes that the ability to survive the struggle phase is what separates those who succeed from those who give up. Even if life knocks you down from a great height to zero, he says, with determination and hard work, you can rise back up to 100.

Reflecting on his own life, Mayank Sharma shares a personal story of adversity. He recalls coming from a well-off family, but at one point, they lost everything and faced significant struggles. Despite these hardships, Mayank held onto the belief that success comes only through perseverance. He continued to work hard, never losing sight of his goal to rebuild his family’s status. Through his unwavering dedication, he eventually managed to bring his family back to a well-off condition.

Mayank Sharma concludes by reaffirming that big dreams can indeed be achieved, but the only thing they demand is hard work. His own experiences have taught him that while the path may be difficult, with consistency, patience, and resilience, any dream is within reach.
