Driven by a desire to do something good in life, Manoj decided to become a yoga instructor. This gave him the opportunity to serve society in a way that was meaningful to him.

Manoj Patidar is a yoga instructor and therapist at Patidar Yoga Center.

Hailing from Indore, Manoj says he has done a diploma and a master's in yoga. He has been working in this field for 12 years. He provides yoga coaching to the patients at Karmchari Rajya Bima Nigam. He also offers yoga coaching at his clients’ homes. He says his yoga therapy helps people become healthier, and training people in  yoga also improves their employability.

Recalling his childhood, Manoj says it was challenging as his parents were farmers. His family shifted to Indore from a village and faced various difficulties. His father worked as a plumber to feed and educate the family. After completing his 12th grade, Manoj worked at a medical store, which increased his health issues. Later, he decided to pursue education in yoga.

Manoj says he believes that it is important to balance knowledge, health, and money in life as it leads to a better lifestyle. Yoga helps to maintain a balance between these factors in life. He believes that people must do some activity related to fitness. It can be either swimming or playing badminton because it creates a healthy mental and physical attitude, which is essential to keep  the doctor away.

Manoj believes that people should do yoga in the presence of an expert, as it is more effective and leads to better health.  Online yoga programmes may have negative effects on the body and can't be trusted to achieve the desired results.

Talking about his mistakes, Manoj says when he was a child, the society where he used to live did not provide him with good company, which led to him developing bad habits. However, he learned from his mistake and started working.

When asked about his role models, Manoj says his parents sacrificed their interests and helped him achieve success, so he considers them his role models. Furthermore, he also thinks of his wife as a role model because she supported him and who also works as a yoga instructor. He also thanks his teachers, who taught him yoga.

Manoj's life mantra is "Meditate for the number of minutes according to your age." In explanation, he says a person should add one minute to their meditation time every year in order to keep the body healthy.

To attain mental peace, Manoj suggests meditating and keeping the mind and body in nature, which also helps relieve stress.

Advising the youth, Manoj says the company you keep plays an important role in careers, and you have to be among the people who inspire you in order to achieve success. He suggests the youth complete a diploma in yoga for themselves, as it is beneficial to health.
