Until and unless you are hard-working and honest, you can not achieve anything in life.
Until and unless you are hard-working and honest, you can not achieve anything in life.
Manoj Kothari hails from Saroda village near Dungarpur in Rajasthan. He came to Udaipur looking for work in the civil construction line in the year 2005. He had to leave his home and his family behind to find a source of income.
Manoj started his career with a setback. When he went to interview for an ongoing project, he was rejected based on his academics. Although he knew the work and was experienced, he was not given the work just because he was not qualified and didn’t carry a degree. This was very shocking for him but he recollected himself and started working under a contractor. He initially struggled a lot, as his wages were very low and he also had to stay away from his family. But he didn’t give up. Finally, after gaining experience and learning the work, Manoj started his venture by the name Shree Nakoda Enterprises. Today, he is successful and well-settled in life.
For youngsters who want to join the civil construction field, Manoj believes it is important for them to be honest, hard-working, and devoted to their work. As construction is fieldwork, it requires a lot of sweat and blood and coordination with other team members for the success of the project.
If he can go back in time and change things, Manoj would become a doctor or an engineer in life.
Manoj’s firm provides its customers with all the services like RCC, brick-work, planning, flooring, POP, painting, and elevation.
Manoj recalls a memory from his childhood when he told his father that he would only go to school if he gets a new dress, and his father got him one and took him to the school. He remembers how he used to play and fight with children at the school. He also used to carry a slate and chalk to read and write.
In his free time, Manoj likes to read books and spend time with his daughters. Belonging from a Jain family, he also loves to sing in the Jain Stavan which helps him indulge in both, his religion and his passion for singing.
His mother and his father have always been his inspiration in life. Manoj says they taught him sincerity and honesty. He was also inspired by the story of Swami Vivekananda, which taught him to implement everything on himself before advising someone on it.
Manoj is very fond of bhajans. To listen to him recite one, watch his video till the end.
