Manoj’s perseverance and hard work paid off, giving him a fruitful career as a skilled Dance Teacher.

Manoj Bhist is the Founder of the BYC Studios and also the Dance Teacher at a school. Along with that, he is an Actor on the Silver Screen. He has also been in the fitness industry for a while.

Manoj hails from Noida. He did his schooling at various schools in and around Noida due to his interest in performing arts. Later on, he pursued his graduation at Delhi University, followed by an IT course at the NIIT.

Growing up, Manoj was actively involved in performing arts during his school and college days. However, he had never planned to choose performing arts as his full-time career, but after investing a good amount of time into dance and getting appreciation too, he decided to carry on. Initaitly, he says, his parents were not supportive enough but with time everything got settled.

Manoj says that he entered into professional choreography after completing his twelfth standard. Throughout his journey, he has been associated with various dance academies and dance crews. In the meantime, he also got a chance to participate in reality shows and work on the silver screen as a supporting actor. After some time, he opened a dance academy with his friends, which didn't work out and they had to shut it down. Manoj always chose experience over money when it came to his career field.

Talking about the struggles he has faced, Manoj says that he used to be short of money most of the time and had to compromise with comfort at times.

During the initial phase of the COVID pandemic, Manoj moved to his home in Noida. At the time, he was working at Cult Fit, a fitness venture. Initially, he was assigned work from home but was eventually phased out. With zero income and some savings, he decided to start a dance academy once again, this time alone. He set up the academy at his place naming it BYC Studio. The academy took off and he started getting students. Meanwhile, he also volunteered to help the people adversely affected by the pandemic.

For Manoj, his role model is his mother, who, he says, is a strong woman and manages everything smoothly. He also takes inspiration from one of his friends.

In his free time, Manoj likes to cook, paint and write poetry. He also keeps learning new skills constantly.

To the people who are new to the dance field, Manoj says that you should never give up and never get deterred from your goal.
