Manju Lodha is a Teacher & Director at Mind Power Spoken English Institute.
She has been running her venture since 1997 and accommodates the age group of 8-64 years covering all students and professionals. Her institute focuses on verbal grammar practice for students to get over their hesitation in communication and develop their personality. She has earned various accolades including the ‘Best Teacher’ award from Hindustan Zinc Vedanta Group, one from her franchise center and another from Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Manju has conducted courses in various organisations like Secure Metres, Volcan Group, Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Bhaskar, nursing colleges and the aviation industry. She belongs to an academically oriented environment and completed her basic education from Rajsamand. Thereafter, she did her BSc in Biology and her MA in English Literature along with M.Phil. She shifted to Udaipur upon getting married and joined All India Radio in 1987 wherein she worked as an Announcer till 1993. Since her son started going to school, she quit her job and started her own venture.
Manju considers her students as her source of inspiration and motivation. She believes in motivating students and appreciating their small achievements as a strategy to boost their confidence and help them learn better. Manju is also a Yoga expert and has completed a two-year course in it conducting meditation camps and covering all practical and theoretical aspects of the domain.
Manju takes great pleasure in seeing her students reach heights in different professions and considers it as her achievement and a source of satisfaction. She also draws inspiration from her elder sister and her son who motivate her and are proud of her achievements.
Manju advises teachers to clear all doubts and concepts of their students and help them build a successful career. She adds that doing proper evaluation and taking feedback is the quality of a good teacher.
Manju is fond of reading self-help books and focuses on gaining more knowledge. She feels that learning never stops and one should keep updating themselves. In her leisure time, Manju likes to go shopping. She is a regular walker and likes to indulge in meditation and pranayama as a Yoga expert.
Manju overcame her sentiments to become stronger with time. She says that we should focus on creativity, health, career and helping others along the way. Manju adds that we all should develop a positive mindset and keep working hard. She quotes a few lines from an article which goes like “Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.” She considers the book by Raj Bapna “Mind Power Study Techniques” as the most fulfilling.
