Dr. Manisha Sharma has been an Ayurvedic Medical Officer with the Himachal Pradesh government for the past eight years. She is also an Odissi classical dance learner for the past seven to eight years.
Manisha hails from a small city Kurukshetra in Haryana. Sharing about her childhood, Manisha says that she was blessed to have a happy one and was pampered and loved by everyone.
Manisha says that success according to her is being happy in what one is doing in life. She feels that no matter what post you are on or what money you are earning if you are not happy, nothing matters in life.
Her success mantra in life is not to take lows in life too seriously as she feels that there is always a hopeful time waiting for you. Always trying to find happiness in small things in life is the mantra for success, she feels.
Manisha feels that one should not be afraid of committing mistakes in life and should learn from them. She says that we should focus on finding our drawbacks and make amends for a better future.
Talking about her COVID-19 experience, Manisha says that she was continuously on duty. However, she says that getting opportunities through online mode to learn from learned people like Mrs. Sharmila Mukherjee was a welcome change.
In her free time, Manisha likes listening to music, dancing, reading, and cooking. She feels that music helps in elevating her mood and that books give her a better understanding of life.
