Manisha has been working as an Economics teacher in the Social Science Department at Rockwoods High School in Udaipur for three years.
Manisha was born and brought up in Udaipur. She completed her education in Udaipur itself.
Sharing her childhood memories, Manisha says that she remembers her school picnics, educational excursions and visiting historical places.
Talking about her entry into the field of teaching, Manisha says that she wants to share her wandering experience with the students and make their studies interesting.
When asked about role models in her life, Manisha says that she considers Nelson Mandela, Sarojini Naidu, Roger Federer and many other personalities that chased their dreams as her role models.
In her free time, Manisha likes to travel a lot. She also likes to do drawing, canvas painting, googling and spending time with animals and birds in her free time.
If a Time Machine is given to her, Manisha would like to go back into the time of the pyramids to discover their origins. She also desires to go back in time to when the big bang was actually happening or she would like to go back and see when the dinosaurs were existing.
Drawing a comparison between education and experience, Manisha says that we should always keep a balance between the two. She would like to give priority to education as she feels that experience can be gained on its basis.
To the youngsters, Manisha advises them that they should not live the life of somebody else. She advises that we should not hesitate in making mistakes.
Her quote for the youth is- 'A lion never sleeps on the opinion of a sheep.'
