Manisha Gupta is a Photographer and Owner at Good News Photography in Jaipur.
Manisha belongs to Jaipur and completed her schooling at Tagore Vidhya Bhawan. She completed her graduation from ICG College.
Talking about her struggles, Manisha says that she faced challenges when her father went into depression. But she handled that situation with patience and calmness.
Manisha’s role models are her father and her maternal uncle, as she learned a lot from them. She learned to smile in difficult situations from her maternal uncle, Sanju. In the field of photography, she admires Ana Brandt and has learned a lot from her tutorials and videos.
Manisha’s success mantra is ‘Failure is the key to success.’
Advising aspirants to her field, Manisha says that editing is the most important part of photography, so one should learn it. It is also important to develop your skills to become a good photographer. A photographer should be emotionally connected with the client while taking pictures.
Sharing her COVID experience, Manisha says that at that time she was blessed with a baby girl. So, she decided to shoot a video of her newborn daughter, and it inspired her to become a female photographer. She utilised that time effectively and learned photography from tutorials and videos. Her sister and family supported her a lot. Her husband encouraged her to pursue this profession.
While comparing education and experience, Manisha says that education plays an important role in life. Experience can only be gained through education.
If given a time machine to go back in time, Manisha would go back to her younger days and try to become a soldier to contribute to the nation.
