Manisha Agarwal is a dietitian and nutritionist from Delhi.
Manisha hails from Uttar Pradesh and has been living in Delhi after her marriage for the past twenty one years. Manisha shares that after losing her father to chronic ailments, she realized that the focus on diet along with proper medication is often neglected and hence decided to come into this field.
Speaking about her childhood, Manisha says that she had a wonderful childhood and had loving parents. She did an M.Sc. in chemistry and desired to go into the teaching field, but that did not work out due to some circumstances.
Sharing her journey, Manisha says that it has been a great journey so far. She learned much from working in hospitals and is now running her own clinic. She feels that working with different patients and learning from the feedback she gets from them has helped her a lot in gaining experience in the field of dietary.
Manisha says that during her academic days, the availability of the internet and learning spaces like YouTube was very limited, and hence she gained all her knowledge from books. However, now she looks for relevant content on YouTube to learn from and also makes YouTube videos to share her experiences with others.
Talking about the importance of dieting and nutrition, Manisha says that dieting is nothing but scheduled eating and the right eating. She says that nowadays people have to sit for long hours, so the aspect of physical exercise is also important with a proper diet.
When asked about her achievements, Manisha says that the frequency of her repeat clients is an achievement for her.
Sharing about her role models in life, Manisha says that her clients who maintain dedication and undergo total transformation are her role models in life.
Manisha says that to attain mental peace in times of stress, she suggests deep breathing exercises and practicing techniques like meditation and pranayama. Manisha says that everyone should do deep breathing at least fifty times in the morning.
Manisha suggests that we prioritize our health in the same way that we prioritize our work. A proper balance between work and health is necessary in order to lead a healthy life.
Talking about her hobbies, Manisha says that she likes reading books, learning from social media, and traveling. She also desires to do organic farming one day and wants to create awareness about it.
